AdaptEd Pilot Agreement

This Pilot Agreement covers the limited free trial period during which AdaptEd is provided at no charge to selected families. It is in addition to (not a replacement for) our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, which continue to apply.

1. What the pilot is

AdaptEd is currently in alpha pilot. We are testing the product with a small number of invited families to evaluate quality, safety, and pedagogy before opening up enrollment. By participating, you accept that:

• Features may break, change, or be removed without notice
• AI-generated content (lesson scripts, voice narration, animations) is experimental and may contain errors
• We will iterate quickly — your child may see different lesson styles week to week
• The service is provided as a courtesy at no charge and may be paused or ended at any time

2. AI safety disclaimer

AdaptEd uses generative AI to produce lessons, practice questions, explanations, and voice narration. AI can make mistakes. AdaptEd is not medical, psychological, diagnostic, or special-education advice. It is not a substitute for a teacher, tutor, therapist, doctor, or licensed evaluator. If your child has a learning disability, IEP, 504 plan, or medical/mental-health need, please use AdaptEd alongside (not in place of) professional support.

If you see content that is incorrect, inappropriate, gives medical or psychological advice, or asks your child for sensitive information, please use the Report this content button on the lesson page. We review every report within 48 hours.

3. Data we collect during the pilot

During the pilot we collect more diagnostic data than we will in the production product, so we can debug and improve quality. Specifically:

• Every question shown, answer given, and detected misconception
• Every reteach video played, including replays and skip-back actions
• Every uploaded homework photo (auto-deleted at 30 days)
• Cost and latency telemetry for each AI call we make on your child's behalf

We use this data only to operate and improve the service. We do not sell, share, or use it for advertising. We do not allow our AI vendors to use it to train their models.

4. Your control

At any time you can:

• View what data we have on each child
• Export your full data set as JSON (Dashboard → My data)
• Delete a specific child profile (Kid profile → Delete child)
• Delete your entire account and withdraw consent
• Email Diego@learnadapted.com with any question, correction request, or complaint

5. Confidentiality of pilot details

We'd appreciate (but don't require) that you not publish screenshots, screen recordings, or detailed reviews of the pilot product until we ship publicly. If you find a bug, security issue, or surprising behavior, email us first.

6. Pricing after the pilot

The pilot is free. If we move to paid subscriptions, we will notify all pilot families by email, give at least 30 days' notice, and require explicit consent before charging any payment method. You may continue with a paid plan or delete your account at no cost.

7. Termination

We may end the pilot — for everyone or for a specific family — at any time, with notice when feasible. You may also leave the pilot at any time by deleting your account.
